Approach
Applebee's position as a primarily dine-in experience pushed the team to pursue unique features such as pay from table and in-store loyalty opportunities. We focused on refreshing app visuals along with an updated experience based on tested learnings from other restaurant clients.
Result
The redesign poses a greater emphasis on pick up and delivery orders for Applebee’s. It allows for more efficient order placement via quick add orders, favorite stores, saved delivery addresses and payment methods. Order personalization is much clearer and users are incentivized to explore all the ways they can customize their meals. New carside and dine-in features allow for more ways to enjoy Applebee's while staying in-app.
